Windy Boats and Hans Jørgen Johnsen have done it again and have been awarded Motor Boat of the Year 2012 thanks to the spectacular design and performance of the new Windy 31 Zonda.
Equipped with twin Volvo D3-220 Diesel engines, it can reach speeds of 44 knots, with a cruising speed of over 25 knots and consumption of less than 0.65 litres per mile per engine, combined with unrivalled smooth running and exceptional handling. This has earned comments such as “the best hull in the world”, and was decisive in securing the award for best boat of the year under 45 ft.
