Marex takes family boating to a new level with the upcoming model: the Marex 390. This boat has been designed as an addition to the Scandinavian 330 and 440 range, offering a perfect balance between open and closed spaces.

“This new model offers more space, smarter features, and a renewed design. It’s the fourth generation of the same concept in this size—something that Marex knows perfectly, ” says Espen Aalrud, CEO of Marex Boats.”

To ensure that the Marex 390 responds to the true needs of boaters, all feedback from previous Marex owners was collected, and carefully considered details were incorporated. The Marex team worked closely with VOM Creations and Alpha Engineering, with special attention to creating a more open and comfortable space. The new 390 features a variable geometry hull (V-shaped) and an innovative structure that guarantees superior stability, efficiency, and performance on the water. Long, elegant windows run along the hull, adding a fresh and sophisticated profile.

Innovative Deck

Marex has always prioritized functional design. The benches on the swimming platform of the Marex 390 have a dual function: they serve as seats by the water and offer ample storage space for fenders, ropes, and water toys. The new transparent cockpit door allows for more light entry, facilitates docking in port, and maintains the connection with the sea.

The characteristic Marex enclosure system, the Smart Canopy System, remains one of the highlights. The side curtains can be deployed in seconds and, together with the two sliding roofs, the boat can adapt to different weather conditions.

Cozy Cockpit

The Marex 390 offers two spacious dining areas: one in the open cockpit and another in the enclosed salon. In the cockpit, a U-shaped sofa extends to include an additional seat on the starboard side, comfortably accommodating up to eight people around the table.

Inside, the redesigned salon features a more spacious layout, promoting a more open and social atmosphere. A reversible backrest transforms the area into a U-shaped dining area around the table. By placing the backrest towards the rear, a co-pilot seat is created. A folding office table completes the set, offering a practical workspace.

A large sliding door, combined with a retractable window, allows the salon and cockpit to become a single continuous space, perfect for socializing with family and friends.

Power and Performance

The Marex 390 will be available with several engine options to suit different boating styles. Owners will be able to choose between single or twin stern drive propulsion, and soon also with shaft drive. The fuel and water tanks have generous capacities, making the boat ideal for longer cruises at cruising speed. For added convenience, a new side pilot door facilitates access to the side deck, simplifying docking maneuvers and improving on-board ventilation.
