Nimbus 495 Coupé, a new way to understand life on board
A boat designed for extended navigation, without a crew and with complete autonomy.
The new Nimbus 495 Coupé represents the purest evolution of the Swedish brand’s DNA. A boat designed for life on board, intended for owners who enjoy extended navigation, seek real autonomy, and value comfort, protection, and functionality above fleeting trends.
Built on the acclaimed Nimbus 495 platform, this Coupé version returns to the essence that has defined Nimbus since 1968: enclosed, safe, and efficient boats, prepared to navigate in real conditions and accompany the owner for weeks, not just during occasional getaways.
The Nimbus 495 Coupé will be officially presented at Boot Düsseldorf 2026, with the first deliveries scheduled for 2027.
The type of boat most faithful to the Nimbus heritage
The Coupé concept has always been the heart of Nimbus. From the first models to the current 305, 365, and 405 Coupé, this type of boat has marked a very specific way of understanding navigation: sheltered when the climate demands it and open when the environment allows it.
The Nimbus 495 Coupé is the largest and most mature expression of this philosophy. In fact, the project was originally born as a Coupé, with the Flybridge being a later adaptation for other markets. In this model, Nimbus returns to the essentials, offering a boat that prioritizes interior experience, efficiency, and ease of use.
Designed for long stays and year-round navigation
The profile of a Nimbus 495 Coupé owner is clear: boaters who measure their trips in weeks, not weekends. People who want a boat that works just as well in the middle of summer as in autumn or winter, and who value interior comfort, protection from the elements, and self-sufficiency.
Eliminating the flybridge is not a renunciation, but a conscious decision. It means less maintenance, less exposure to wind and sun, and a more intimate, serene sailing experience deeply connected to the sea.

More natural light and an even more habitable saloon
One of the most visible changes of the Nimbus 495 Coupé is its large panoramic glass roof. By dispensing with the flybridge structure, the saloon receives an exceptional amount of natural light, reinforcing the feeling of spaciousness and continuity between interior and exterior.
To manage this luminosity in warm climates, Nimbus introduces an exterior electric awning over the glass, which unfolds with the touch of a button. This solution allows the saloon to be kept shaded without sacrificing natural ventilation, achieving a perfect balance between comfort and openness.
For those looking for a warmer and more traditional atmosphere, the Nimbus 495 Coupé offers an optional mahogany interior, combined with oak floors and carefully coordinated upholstery. A nod to the brand’s historic Coupés, reinterpreted with a contemporary focus on comfort, ergonomics, and perceived quality.
Prepared for canals, rivers and long journeys
Thanks to its electrically folding mast, the Nimbus 495 Coupé offers a total height of less than 3.5 meters, allowing access to European canals, inland waterway networks and emblematic routes such as The Great Loop in North America.
Optionally, it can be equipped with a short bathing platform, reducing the overall length to below 14 meters, an important advantage for moorings and port regulations.
Nimbus 495 Coupé or 495 Flybridge, two ways of understanding navigation
Although they share the hull, engine and engineering, the Nimbus 495 Coupé and the 495 Flybridge respond to clearly different boater profiles.
The 495 Flybridge is oriented towards those who prioritize elevated outdoor spaces and a more open and social experience.
The 495 Coupé, on the other hand, focuses on protection, efficiency and interior life, with less maintenance, greater autonomy and a more direct relationship with navigation throughout the year.
In addition, the Coupé version offers key advantages such as:
- Greater glazed area in the saloon
- Possibility of additional solar panels
- Air height less than 3.5 m, ideal for canals and rivers
- Interior spaces optimized for long stays
