After the C9 and C11 models, the new Nimbus C8 is the third model in the Nimbus Commuter series. It is a fast pleasure boat, built to meet the needs of year-round boaters, day-trip boaters or those planning shorter, staggered trips and ending up spending the night on board.

Comfort and freedom of movement
Thanks to its comfortable, functional and agile design, it is the perfect choice for those who want to use their boat on a daily basis, whatever the weather. In the C8, priority is given to space, surfaces and functionality, which allow excellent mobility and an unrivaled feeling of freedom on board. All this results in easily accessible storage spaces, wide walkways and corridors and large sliding doors.
The C8 is a versatile and comfortable boat to travel throughout the year that allows you to travel just as well whether you sail alone or accompanied. Despite its small size, it has been prioritized that the available space allows you to get on, off and move freely around the boat. According to Nimbus Lead Designer Joacim Gustavsson, the crucial element in making the C8 was to build it as functional and versatile as the C9, but with a smaller hull.

A unique commuter
Like its sisters, the C8 has a wide walk-around (Illustration 5) that contributes to an extra feeling of freedom and makes it easy to move around the deck. It is, simply put, a smaller alternative to other boats in the Nimbus Commuters series.
“With the C8 we reach a wider audience, partly because of its lower price, but also because of its smaller size. Thanks to this, the C8 can dock in ports where it would otherwise be too narrow. In addition, it is an easy boat to transport with a trailer”, says the Commercial Director of Nimbus.

The bow seats of this model have 3 positions: lounge , chill or driving mode (illustrations 6, 7 and 8), depending on the intended use. The cockpit is roomy and lets in plenty of natural light through the extra-large glass doors, sliding roof hatch and aft hatch that can also be opened.
It closes and opens in seconds, and the large glass hatch aft makes getting on and off the boat easy, efficient and facilitates communication between the crew on shore and on board.
The bathtub can accommodate up to 4 or 5 people sitting on the side benches and on the folding sofa aft. Thanks to this sofa, the bathtub can be better adapted according to the needs
from the owner: seats to have a good time, storage space or a place to do activities such as fishing or swimming.
The swivel seats of the Nimbus C8 are very comfortable when sailing at sea, both for the driver and his passengers. They can be easily turned towards the sofa and the extendable table, thus creating an area to enjoy a good snack or meal with your loved ones. The sofa can be converted into an additional bed for two children or an adult, and the forward cabin has a double bed with a separate bathroom and a small kitchen. The top of the cockpit is equipped with integrated cargo arches, allowing larger items such as surfboards, kayaks, etc. to be carried.
