Scandinavian luxury yacht manufacturer Windy Scandinavia AB introduces the new WINDY SR53X , designed in collaboration with Malcolm McKeon Yacht Design as part of a joint marine design collaboration.
This new model is developed with two special deck designs and can be equipped with an outboard or inboard engine. The version that appears on screen will be released in the 2022/23 season. The Windys SR range comprises models from 26 to 60 ft (7.9 m to 18.2 m).
Malcolm’s designers say, “The SR53X heralds a new design that is reminiscent of the SLR/SR60 hull line. It is equipped with improved seaworthiness and a generous freeboard which, in turn, increases accommodation space below.”
“Its semi-enclosed console improves protection against natural elements while still offering the sensation of being in a ?ℎ??????? opened. Similarly, the windscreen organically merges with the bimini top, a distinctive design feature of our superyachts, which fits harmoniously with the overall proportions of the boat.”
